Sustainable anti-slip paper
Palcut is FSC-certified with the label “Recycled 100%”, which means that most the paper we purchase comes from 100% post-consumer materials.
Post-consumer materials means wood fibre that has been used for its original purpose by individuals or companies and is then collected for reuse. For example, old newspapers, magazines, etc.
When paper is made from recycled waste paper instead of virgin raw materials, less energy, water, chemicals and cellulose fibres (wood) are consumed. (genanvend.mst.dk).
By purchasing recycled paper, the life of the wood is extended, and in this way our partnership is helping protect the forests of the world.
The fibres in the paper that is recycled for our anti-slip paper do not necessarily originate from an FSC-certified forest. However, if new wood fibre is added during the recycling process, it will always be FSC-certified.

Products marked with this label are made from a mix of one or more of the following materials:
- Wood fibres from FSC-certified forests

General information about FSC®
FSC® – the Forest Stewardship Council® – is an international non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting responsible forest management worldwide.
FSC forests are characterised by the fact that no more trees are felled than the forest is capable of reproducing. The FSC is also a guarantee that animals and plants are protected, and that the people who work in the forests are guaranteed education, safety equipment and reasonable wages.
The FSC develops standards based on accepted principles of responsible forest management supported by environmental, social and economic stakeholders. If you want to know more, please visit fsc.org.
There are three different FSC labels: FSC 100%, FSC MIX and FSC Recycled. Palcut is certified with the FSC Recycled and MIX labels.
Annual monitoring
Every year our FSC-affiliated certification body, Bureau Veritas, conducts an audit to ensure that Palcut meets the requirements for FSC-certification.
Continuous monitoring
Palcut continuously self-monitors its processes etc., including ensuring that all paper with the FSC labels can be traced. This means that the paper must be able to be traced all the way from the supplier* to its arrival at the Palcut production facility in Holstebro, Denmark, and until it is delivered to the customer.
*The supplier guarantees that the wood fibres from which the recycled paper is made are derived from waste paper, and that all new wood fibres which are added come from FSC-certified forests.
