Palcut is strengthening its customer support and product development

Palcut A/S of Holstebro, Denmark, specialist in automated palletising solutions, is strengthening its international customer support and product development with the appointment of Peter Loff as development engineer.
Peter Loff, 47, has been appointed to a new position as development engineer at Palcut A/S, near Holstebro in Denmark. As technical sales supporter, Peter Loff will be developing and adapting the company’s palletising solutions to meet the needs of industry. At the same time, he will be adapting customer-specific solutions and working on cost optimisation.
This is a new post, and is part of Palcut’s aim of doubling sales within the next few years. The company’s fully-automated dispensers and anti-slip interlayer sheets set new standards for pallet stability and uptime on packaging lines. The solutions are targeted at a number of industries, including food and drink, furniture and paper. The company has already installed 500 systems that are part of fully-automated palletising systems in the European market.
“We have a very ambitious goal of doubling our revenue. This will be done based on a deep understanding of the industry’s palletisation processes. Therefore, we are employing Peter Loff because he has a versatile background that enables him to understand the customers’ process flows and thus be able to design optimal solutions,” says Rudi Pedersen, Managing Director of Palcut A/S.
Peter Loff has extensive experience and comes from Bang & Olufsen A/S, an audio and video company, where he has been working on product reliability, process improvements and packaging development for 21 years, including testing transport impact on packaging and products. Peter Loff originally qualified as an electrician, and then trained as a mechanical engineer at Haslev Teknikum.
