Palcut A/S strengthen international sales with the appointment of Palle A. Christensen as Sales Manager.

Palle A. Christensen, 54, has been employed as international sales manager at Palcut A/S in Borbjerg near Holstebro. This is a new position, and Palle A. Christensen will be responsible for developing sales of Palcut’s automation solutions for palletising lines in areas including the Mediterranean region and Eastern Europe.
The primary target group is the food and beverage industry, and an important part of the job will be to develop the network of distributors and to support distributors in the sales work in the relevant countries. With Palcut sheet dispensers and Antim friction paper, the newly appointed sales manager has good selling points at hand: The solution increases the uptime of the palletising line and reduces both the environmental impact and the risk of transport damage to pallets with finished products.
Palle A. Christensen has gained extensive experience from the international packaging industry, where he worked for Stora Enso for 10 years, including the past five years as Global Key Account Manager in the Packaging division. Here, he has been responsible for a number of large Scandinavian customers in the retail, industrial and food industries, where he has been involved in driving the development of sustainable packaging solutions.
Previously, he held sales responsibility for 10 years at SCA Packaging, now part of DS Smith plc. In his spare time, he is a committed volunteer at the Nibe Festival and can be seen on the golf course when the weather and time allow it.
Palle A. Christensen was originally trained as a production assistant from UCN North Jutland and has since completed further training as an insurer at the Forsikringshøjskolen insurance college. Most recently, he completed a programme in key account management.
“The potential for Palcut’s solution for robot packaging lines is great, because we can combine a high degree of operational reliability and significant savings with a more environmentally friendly profile. After many years in the packaging industry, I know the customers’ needs inside and out, and I now look forward to meeting them with a unique portfolio in my briefcase,” Palle A. Christensen says.
Managing Director of Palcut A/S, Rudi Pedersen, adds: “The Palcut solution also reduces the need for manual labour, making production lines less vulnerable in a time with threats like COVID-19. This is a dimension that also gives our new sales manager a strong hand to play.”
