Liquim® SILVER

Liquim Silver is an interlayer paper with a liquid resistant barrier, an anti-slip coating on one side and regular linerboard on the other side.

Liquim Silver is especially suitable for applications where e.g., the emergence of condensation may destroy the interlayer sheets and thus pose a risk of deteriorating the stability of the pallet.

Where conventional liner sheets will dissolve and be destroyed, because of the condensation, Liquim Silver’s liquid-resistant barrier will ensure that the sheet retains its strength, leaving the pallet stable all the way to the customer.

Condensation can occur because of climatic and seasonally changes during transportation and storage. Liquim Silver does not reduce the emergence of condensation, it does however reduce the risk of collapsed pallets. Any occurrence of condensation does not destroy the liner sheets completely – the paper fibres and the anti-slip function are preserved, thanks to the liquid-resistant barrier.

Liquim Silver is thus ideal in wet environments or where changeable temperatures causes condensation.

Way of use

Liquim Silver can be applied in-between layers with the anti-slip side facing up or down – it depends on your needs and requirements. However, it is our experience that in the case of condensation challenges, it is most advantageous to place the liner sheet with the anti-slip side facing upwards.
