Anti-slip paper
Our anti-slip paper – or slip sheets – for pallets offer a lightweight and durable alternative to traditional pallet sheets, providing several advantages such as:
– Ensuring stable pallets – thereby minimising collapsed pallets and damaged products.
– Reducing storage space and optimising your goods-in-process due to fewer deliveries.
– Minimising your costs and environmental footprint while enhancing supply chain efficiency.
With our slip sheets, your products are safe and stable during transportation. The friction coating of our paper ensures that your products remain on the pallet – all the way from production to the customer. The slip sheets are used between the product layers on the pallet and are delivered as either pre-cut sheets or in reels, depending on the type of anti-slip paper and your specific needs.
Now, let’s take a look at our different types of slip sheets.
Different types of slip sheets
Antim® – ensures safe transportation
Our most popular type of slip sheets is our Antim® series. This FSC®-certified anti-slip paper ensures ultimate stability of your products in the warehouse and all the way to the customer.
The series consists of the two variants Antim® and Antim® X which are each tailored to specific needs.
Antim® slip sheets
Antim® slip sheets is our bestseller as it solves most stabilisation challenges – regardless of whether you palletise boxes, bags, cans, bottles, or something completely different. Thus, it’s designed for versatile palletising, providing a firm grip for your products. The slip sheets are, however, highly suitable for heavy, slippery, and challenging products.
The slip sheets have a slip angle of over 50° which ensures that your products remain on the pallet, independent of terrain and speed.
Antim® X slip sheets
Our Antim® X slip sheets are tailored for lighter goods and ensures stable pallets in the warehouse, during transportation, and in the shops. The paper has a slip angle of over 45° and a unique diagonal stripe coating, which makes it a bit more affordable than the Antim® variant. This means that it is a sensible choice if you do not require stabilisation for heavy items and if strong friction is not necessary. Antim® X will thus provide reliable and secure transportation for your products without compromising your budget.
Liquim® – protects against moisture and leakages
Our Liquim® series is a type of anti-slip paper that is also “liquid-proof” or liquid-resistant – meaning it’s resistant to liquids, moisture, and condensation. This series is often suitable for companies who are palletising liquid products or who’s products are being transported in humid environments. Meanwhile, the slip sheets are designed to ensure safe and stable transportation.
The liquid resistant Liquim® series comes in 3 different variants: Liquim® GOLD, Liquim® SILVER, and Liquim® BRONZE. Each of these variants are tailored to specific requirements.
Liquim® GOLD
Liquim® GOLD provides maximum protection against liquids and contaminants, suitable for the most demanding applications such as big-bags, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals where a firm grip between layers on a pallet is crucial. In the event of a leak, the slip sheet’s liquid-resistant coating acts as a barrier, preventing the spread of the leak and reducing potential product damage significantly.
Liquim® SILVER
Liquim® SILVER offers a balance of performance and affordability, making it a versatile choice for various industries. These slip sheets are the ideal solution for applications where condensation poses a risk to pallet stability. It provides a liquid-resistant barrier, with an anti-slip coating on one side and regular Linerboard on the other side.
Liquim® SILVER’s liquid-resistant barrier ensures that the slip sheets retain its strength and keeps the pallet stable during transportation. It doesn’t reduce the emergence of condensation, but it significantly reduces the risk of collapsed pallets.
Liquim® BRONZE
Our Liquim® BRONZE slip sheets are an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional PE-coated Linerboard sheets. The paper provides a liquid-resistant barrier that prevents moisture from pallets from compromising your products. Thus, it features basic liquid-proof properties at a cost-effective price point, ideal for budget-conscious businesses.
The differences between Antim® and Liquim® slip sheets
So, summing up the two anti-slip paper series, this means that there are several differences to consider when choosing whether Antim® or Liquim® is the right paper solution for your palletising needs.
One of the overall differences between Antim® and Liquim® anti-slip paper is, first and foremost, the liquid-resistant barrier that Liquim® provides in contrast to Antim®. The Antim® slip sheets are, on the other hand, primarily designed to ensure safe and stable pallets during transportation, in the warehouse, and in the stores. So, while Liquim® is suitable for companies transporting liquid products or products in humid environments, Antim® is an efficient paper solution to most challenges – heavy or lighter products.
Both Antim® and Liquim® reduce your need for stretch foil and is 100% recyclable, however, while Antim® is FSC®-certified, Liquim® holds the FSC® MIX-certificate.
As there are many aspects to consider in finding the right paper type for your specific palletising needs, we always recommend that you consult with one of our experts. It might not be the obvious choice that is the best solution for your company. And when having found the right paper type, then comes a consideration of finding the proper size and grammage of the slip sheets.
